Our Misson
IJDF is a collective that amplifies Jewish Deaf expression through cultural, creative, and educational programs. We foster belonging, challenge stereotypes, and celebrate the richness of our diverse identities while building bridges across communities and with allies worldwide.

A world where the Jewish Deaf collective is embraced, dialogue drives change, and communities are inclusive, free from antisemitism, ignorance, and exclusion.
The Jewish Deaf International Festival is guided by a passionate and experienced committee made up of Jewish Deaf leaders, artists, educators, and advocates from around the world. Each member brings a unique blend of cultural insight, professional expertise, and lived experience that reflects the richness and diversity of our global community. With backgrounds in the arts, community organizing, accessibility, Jewish education, and event planning, our committee works collaboratively to create a festival that is inclusive, empowering, and deeply rooted in Jewish and Deaf identity.
